Delete your account

In compliance with Google Play Developer Policy.

You can delete your MakeMyRewards account and request deletion of associated personal data using either method below.

Option 1 — In-app (fastest)

Open the MakeMyRewards app and sign in.
Go to Profile → Settings → Account.
Tap Delete account and confirm.

Your account is closed immediately. Personal data is removed per the schedule below.

Option 2 — Email request

If you can't access the app, email support@makemyrewards.com from the email address or with the phone number registered to your account, with the subject "Account deletion request". We will verify your identity and process your request within 30 days, in line with applicable law.

What gets deleted

Your profile (name, phone, email, profile photo).
Activity proofs and uploads you submitted.
Push tokens and device data.
Referral links you generated (the link becomes invalid).

What we may keep — and why

Some records are retained for the periods below to meet legal, financial, anti-fraud, and audit obligations. Where retained, data is access-restricted and used only for these purposes.

KYC documents and payout records: retained for up to 8 years per Indian financial-record-keeping law (Prevention of Money Laundering Act and tax law).
Transaction logs (payouts, reversals): retained for the same period.
Anti-fraud signals: de-identified flags retained to prevent re-registration by repeat offenders.

Pending balance

If your account has a withdrawable rewards balance at the time of deletion, withdraw it first. Once your account is deleted, balances cannot be recovered.

This action is permanent. Deleted accounts cannot be restored. You can sign up again later, but past activity, referrals, and balances will not be carried over.
